Monte dei Ragni Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore: A rich and enveloping Venetian red wine

Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore by Monte dei Ragni is a Venetian red wine produced by the Monte dei Ragni agricultural company, located in the municipality of Fumane, in Valpolicella. The wine is obtained from a selection of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, harvested by hand and dried for approximately 30 days. After pressing, the must is fermented in steel at a controlled temperature. The wine obtained is then refermented on the Amarone pomace, giving it a more full-bodied and tannic character. The refinement takes place in wooden barrels for a period of at least 12 months.

Color, aromas and flavors

Monte dei Ragni Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore has an intense ruby ​​red color with garnet reflections. On the nose there are hints of ripe red fruit, spices, tobacco and cocoa. On the palate it is a robust and structured wine, with well-integrated tannins and a persistent finish.
